What to Expect:

With a strong FP&A focus, the Senior Financial Analyst, prepares, develops and analyzes monthly results, monthly and ad-hoc forecasts, financial models, what-if scenarios, and budgets using internal and external information.   This position also prepares and develops external and internal reporting models.

Responsibilities

  • Primary day to day responsibility for the development and preparation of monthly forecasts, variance analysis, internal and external financial presentations and the annual budget
  • Validate, challenge and explain key financial indicators and performance
  • Finance business partner for designated operational areas of the business
  • Assist with treasury functions including cash management, ACH payments, positive pay, etc.
  • Prepare daily liquidity analysis and weekly cash flow projections
  • Research, collect, and study financial and operational data as well as apply allocation methodologies, various sets of assumptions, and perform what-if analysis
  • Develop new financial models and challenge existing models
  • Work with key stakeholders to improve processes and drive productivity initiatives
  • Provide management with information to assist with their decision making responsibilities 
  • Assist in transactional support, acquisitions/divestitures and new product offerings
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA/MBA a plus

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous FP&A experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Minimum of 4–6 years experience finance or accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be energetic, highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Must be able to work in a fast growing, rapidly evolving business
  • Past record of achievement and desire to advance
  • Must be well organized with strong communication skills across many different levels of the organization, both verbal and written.

 

Supervisory Responsibility: No current supervisory responsibilities.

 

Travel Requirements: Occassional travel may be required.
