Senior Member Engagement Manager (Remote)

Matrix adheres to the highest standards in quality, compliance, and data collection to accelerate trial completion timelines and support trial partners.
  • Matrix Clinical Labs is a CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratory that provides state-of-the-art diagnostic services and clinical testing support.

Responsibilities

About the role:

 

 

Type: Full Time Salaried

Compensation: $87,000 to $115,000

Location: Remote or 9201 E. Mountain View Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85258.

Hours: Full Time Days  

Travel: Perhaps once or twice a quarter once Covid conditions improve

What to Expect:

The Sr. Member Engagement professional will be the functional leader within the account management team with responsibility for ensuring Matrix is able to attain acceptances from the maximum number of targeted members. Matrix’s success will be driven by how many completed assessments we can produce given a certain number of members outreached to. To increase this number, it is critical to improve the way we communicate to members as well as what we communicate to them. The person occupying this position is expected to improve member engagement as well as intereact with our clients about strategies to elicit increased member engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and Maintain a Member Engagement Strategy
    • Develop and keep relevant a comprehensive Member Engagement Strategy that considers what messages should be delivered, how they should they be delivered, when they should be delivered, and who should deliver them.
    • Design, develop, and test pilots and enhancements that increase member engagement; build upon those that are successful by implementing in the business.
    • Undertake appropriate initiatives to develop a relationship with members across the entire enrollment period they are with the client health plan by considering:
      • Multiple touch points
      • Providing information / education to address their objections, concerns, and needs
      • Building knowledge, understanding and good will of who Matrix is, what we do, and what is in it for them (“what’s in it for me”?)
      • Reducing barriers to acceptance and creating advocates in our markets
      • Maintain a master actionable work plan of the overall member engagement approach.
  • Work Collaboratively with Client Services to Engage Clients in Member Engagement
    • Identify what clients are doing today.
    • Identify ways in which Matrix can more substantively engage members by working with client organizations and tapping into things they are already doing.
    • Work proactively with client organizations to identify existing channels (email, digital, social media, written communications, health plan programs with member contact and member oriented events) and make use of them to introduce Matrix and schedule appointments.
  • Coordinate Member Outreach
    • Help direct the efforts of those functions responsible for member engagement.
    • Work across functions internally – mailing, teleservices, etc. as well as an outside agency – to deliver effective member engagement communications on time and on budget with maximum impact
  • Monitor and Measure Performance Through Effective Metrics and Management Reporting
    • Measure the effectiveness of various campaigns and seek to continuously improve performance.
    • Provide appropriate analysis and reporting to communicate status and support decision-making.
    • Work closely with the company’s Senior Business Analysts to produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports and to identify and deliver any ad hoc individual report requirements.
    • Interact closely with cross-functional teams to gather, monitor and analyze performance data.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of new/revised reports, systems and procedures that will support your business area.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

 

  • A Bachelor of Arts /Science degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Health Care Administration or related field is required.
  • A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop effective member engagement.
  • Proven Member Engagement experiences required with a minimum of 5-8 years of direct experience.
  • Should have Medicare Advantage member engagement experience.
  • Excellent copy writing, analytical and project management skills.

  • Direct experience in managing projects/programs, coordinating team members, developing timetables and setting deadlines in order to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully lead a function.
  • Excellent writing, analytical and project management skills.
