The Production Control Analyst plays an integral part of our Operations team within our Production Planning and Control department. This role has an opportunity to impact critical business operations and help the team meet and exceed our organizations production goals.
The Production Control Analyst is responsible for achieving client objectives through the efficient use of our field provider staff. The Production Control Analyst ensures that production schedules can be met through aligning the field provider staff to the client demand. In this role, the Production Control Analyst will work directly with Production Planning, Clinical Operations, IT, Marketing, and the Contact Center in order to optimize provider productivity and to ensure all key performance indicators are on track to achieve business and client objectives.
The Production Control Analyst is also responsible for managing the inventory of membership that is provided to Matrix by their clients. They will ensure that we are balancing capacity and demand in an effort to outreach to our inventory of membership. The Production Control Analyst is also responsible for providing analytical and technical reporting support to the Production Planning & Control leadership team.
Research, track, and control inventory levels for assigned providers to maximize provider productivity
Analyze inventory changes related to provider schedule changes or modifications
Develop production plans for assigned geographical areas and providers to maximize the available capacity of field resources Conduct geographical analysis for staffing and territory assignment in order to increase operational efficiency and productivity
Assists with the monitoring of the workflow as it relates to member scheduling and make real time recommendations to necessary parties Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques to provide a better understanding of variables in a given geographic location
Coordinate with field leadership on the planning and movement of provider resources
Work with the Production Planning team on understanding client goals to develop provider plans for specific markets
Coordinate with the contact center to cultivate strategies to reduce openings in provider schedules day to day
Determine eligibility, prepare, issue and monitor the inventory of membership to ensure provider utilization and meet production goals In collaboration with others, develop and maintain databases and data systems as necessary
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other related field or equivalent professional experience
GIS experience preferred
Six Sigma experience preferred Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum 3+ years data analytics, logistics, or inventory management experience
Field service industry experience preferred
Knowledge and experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software and technology a plus
Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for understanding business environment and translating business requirements to technical solutions
Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a cross functional team of associates
Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize activities, and meet established deadlines in a rapidly changing environment Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and time constraints Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and departments effortlessly Critical thinking skills to identify and resolve problems identified through tools to include dashboard reports
Ability to identify problematic situations, conduct research and develop and implement action plans to address issues
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, (including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
Hands-on working knowledge of work flow measurement methodologies and tools
Detail oriented with commitment to high level of data integrity and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to maintain protected health information
Proven time management and organizational skills required Comfortable working independently under minimal supervision, with experience working in a team environment
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.
Occasional travel may be required.
