Matrix has recently completed the acquisition of LP Health Services. Matrix is now at the point to create an integrated program plan and begin execution. Matrix would like these work streams to combine LP Health Services solutions into Matrix’s established programs in an efficient and timely manner, while achieving the defined integration objectives.

 

The Program Manager will be responsible for driving and delivering the scope of integration work, while identifying business, technical, operational and people requirements, managing expectations and understanding gaps and risks.   The Program Manager will be able to provide both strategic direction and tactical implementation of the Integration program’s work streams

Responsibilities

The Program Manager will be able to provide both strategic direction and tactical implementation of the Integration program’s work streams. Other key responsibilities may include:

 

  • Assess current state of integration activities (inflight and planned)
  • Define detailed integration requirements based the overall acquisition and integration strategy
  • Capture cross-functional interdependencies to develop a consolidated integration plan
  • Identify interim procedures and processes that will be required to manage two separate organizations during the integration period
  • Align planned savings/synergies to the integration plan to create traceability to measure performance (e.g. operating margin targets)
  • Implement a basic program management framework and cadence to report status, drive decisions, and communicate to stakeholders
  • Introduce and implement Point B’s M&A methodology and tools to accelerate planning and execution
  • Leverage Point B’s M&A expertise to identify gaps and mitigate risk
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Provide guidance and accountability to assigned work stream leads
  • Engage with work stream leaders to align program deliverables
  • Assist with driving stakeholder engagement and alignment to program objectives
  • Communicate project risks and timeline to stakeholders
  • Establish an acquisition integration project plan template for use in future acquisitions
  • Travel to participating sites, as needed

Qualifications

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

B.S. or a B.A. college degree required

 

Required/Desired Skills and Abilities:

5-10 years’ experience in PM with enterprise wide implementations.

(CSM) Certified Scrum Master or (PMP) Project Management Professional
Experience in managing Waterfall, Iterative Development or Scrum/AGILE projects and programs.

Effectively be able to shift priorities, timelines and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitivity environment

Must be able converse with wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments/business units

Strong written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, (including Project, Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail, as well as perform duties under minimal supervision is a must.

Proven ability to meet project deadlines

Understanding of computer fundamentals or IT processes

 

Preferred:

Knowledge of the Medical Healthcare Industry is a Plus

Managed external implementation Vendors (Thru the SDLC).

 

 

Travel Requirements: Travel may be required.

 

Work Conditions: General office environment.
