This position requires frequent to constant standing throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to keep up with these physical demands throughout entire duration of shift.
All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be at least 25 years of age to be in compliance with our minimum requirements for driving one of our mobile units. A full Motor Vehicles Record check must be completed and cleared before applicants can be interviewed.
Full time positions available for an individual dedicated to strong customer service and patient care and the ability to manage a busy mobile medical clinic. Daily responsibilities include operational and clinical oversight of 4-8 staff, inventory supply management, quality assurance and control, scheduling mechanical repairs, and customer relations for major insurance companies within the Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid populations. Paid training is provided.
HealthFair is a mobile health and wellness company that partners with major insurance providers to discover, diagnose, and test for long term chronic diseases such as congestive heart failure, COPD, diabetes, PAD, neuropathy to meet the regulatory HCC, HEDIS, STARS and quality measures.
A variety of point of care testing such as lab work (fingerstick), ultrasound, spirometry, Digital Retinopathy Screening, ABI and EKG is immediately available to validate old conditions or diagnose new conditions affecting the long term health of our patients. These test are performed under the supervision of the Medical Director and in conjunction with a team of nurses, cardiovascular technologists, and medical assistants.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Unit Manager, together with the Unit Manager, is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the mobile unit including the daily operational and clinical oversight of four (4) – eight (8) staff members, monitoring performance, inventory supply management, quality assurance and control, scheduling mechanical repairs, and customer relations for major insurance companies within the Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid populations. The Assistant Unit Manager works with other departments to promote usage of the mobile unit and other community agencies to increase the level of care in the communities we serve.
