    Temporary Human Resources Clerk

    The HR Assistant will be an integral part of the HR Administration/Operations team and work cross functionally with other areas of HR including Recruitment, Credentialing, and the HRBPs and contribute to improving the associate experience.

    The HR Assistant will focus on providing administrative support to the Human Resource department allowing candidates, associates, and business processes to flow in a more streamlined and effective manner.  Position will be responsible for tasks such as workflow of basic admin duties such as monitoring HR mail and mailbox, eFax, verifications of employment, documentation of procedures/processes, communication, auditing, supporting backup for other positions within the department, and other administrative responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs a variety of administrative duties such as mail, eFax, supplies
    • Creation of start forms on contractor candidates
    • Monitoring of driver records and driver information for those who drive as part of their position
    • Conducts audits of data, documents and files
    • Reconciliation of invoices on vendor billing (background screening, benefit billing, agency fees, referrals, cell phone stipends, special payment requests)
    • Maintenance of all HR procedures and processes as well as coordination of updating of HR related Policies
    • Maintain business contract data in Contract Management system for HR vendors
    • Verifications of employment
    • Responds to questions and requests from internal and external customers
    • Other duties and projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:

     

    High School Graduation

     

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in administrative support in high volume environment
    • Familiar with federal and state HR regulations
    • Familiar with HR/PR processes, data and systems; UltiPro experience a plus
    • Ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking ability, organizational, time management and problem solving skills. Must take ownership and accountability of processes.
    • High level of attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
    • Is action oriented and sees challenges as opportunities for growth and positive development of self, others and processes.
    • Demonstrated ability and commitment to excellent customer service to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, including, Outlook, Word and Excel

       

    Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Travel Requirements: No travel required.

     

    Work Conditions: General office environment
