    Responsibilities

    Under the Operations Support team, the Equipment Manager will performs a variety of duties relating to receiving, issuing, handling and accounting for inventory stock used to support Health Assessments Nationwide.  This individual is a key role who ensures that the right inventory is in the right place so that assessments can be completed as scheduled.

     

    Types of inventory include mobile screening test kits, equipment and/or other supplies needed to support our member wellness screening.  This individual will assist with making sure that inventory is available for use and is in the hands of the clinical staff who are located throughout the United States such that we successfully meet corporate and client production goals. In short, the qualified individual will be responsible for adhering to shipment and order schedules, reporting, and completion of screening products and services related to the Comprehensive Health Assessment.

     

    This position requires progressive experience and responsibilities in a production environment, as well as solid understanding of data reporting, production processes and inventory compliance. The Equipment Manager adheres to timetables for each step of the scheduling process for the assigned products and/or services.  They will ensure the accurate and proper receipt of materials from our production partners. They track all of the shipments through the replenishment process. They will also assist with the reporting of inventory balances monthly, reconciliations and quarterly physical inventory verifications. They will also need to ensure we are not incurring inventory obsolescence by facilitating field transfers or returns to our production partners.

    Qualifications

    The qualified individual will need to be familiar with any of the following functions:

    • Review, create and run reports analyzing the data for processing kit assignments as needed
    • Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities
    • Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies Handle returns and exchanges by ensuring that reverse distribution processes are followed properly
    • Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers
    • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
    • Assist with the investigation of production problems, analyze root causes, and suggest solutions
    • Review inventory levels and assignments to ensure production goals will be met on a daily basis
    • Review suggested inventory levels to ensure the plan is met but also review/track expiration dates and be sure not to process excess inventory that we need to write off
    • Assist with a physical inventory count on an annual basis and assist with reporting reconciliation once the physical inventory count is completed
    • Must be able to identify any potential challenge that may derail production schedules and present the findings to the Operations Lead for further validation
    • Utilize various status reports and tracking tools
    • Attend status and scheduling meetings as needed

     

    Educational Requirements:

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Commerce, related field or equivalent preferred

     

    Required Skills and Abilities:

     

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in materials management, supply chain, planning, production assessment,  production control, inventory/material control of scheduling function in an assessment environment or equivalent
    • Experience with Materials Management is preferred
    • Demonstrated data reporting skills
    • Experience with assisting in the reporting and reconciliation of inventory (Public Company preferred)
    • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for understanding business environment and translating business requirements
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize activities, and meet established goals in a rapidly changing environment
    • Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners
    • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
    • Advanced proficiency of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office software tools. Advanced ability in math and computer skills

    Supervisory Responsibility: May be Included

     

    Travel Requirements: 25% travel is required (one week per month) and may include additional required travel during onboarding.

     

    Work Conditions: General office environment.
