    Corporate Paralegal

    The Corporate Paralegal / Legal Assistant will be responsible for completing both legal and administrative duties in support of multiple levels of individuals primarily within the legal department. In this challenging and rewarding role you will have the opportunity to support several senior leaders in addition to learning and growing an exciting and rewarding career with a dynamic company.


    • Support General Counsel & Corporate administrator 
    • Manage Legal department daily work-flow, coordinate schedules, and prepare for meetings
    • Process telephone calls for legal inquiries and requests as well as managing request when appropriate
    • Organize and gather information for the Legal department meetings
    • Process record requests, e.g. subpoenas and wage garnishments
    • Oversee corporate entity regulatory filings
    • Assist with document drafting and review and maintaining the contract library
    • Assist with Board of Directors’ meetings and materials
    • Maintain Board of Directors’ portal (Diligent) for Board meetings
    • Maintain corporate minute books, draft resolutions, and process filings
    • Perform legal research using Westlaw
    • Perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary


    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Paralegal Certificate from ABA accredited program

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Five or more years of related experience in a corporate law department or law firm.
    • Ability to maintain professional presence in high pressure situations.
    • Proven high-level functional skills with demonstrated learning agility.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills; ability to anticipate, interpret, plan, and develop action steps.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential documents and information with discretion.
    • Ability to work autonomously and follow-through.
    • Resourceful with ability to take the initiative to prioritize and solve problems with limited guidance and supervision.
    • M&A experience, familiarity with contract management systems, and Corporate Practice of Medicine a plus.
    • Advanced level proficiency and work experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Diligent.

    Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.
