    The Agile Project Manager will primarily be responsible for management of the business initiatives and SDLC, ensuring successful execution of all project tasks and deliverables.  The PM will be tasked with running project kick-off meetings, creation of standard PM artifacts (project charter, RACI, detailed project plan/sprint plans and schedule, etc.), as well as running all project-related meetings and escalating action items as necessary.  Additional responsibilities include tracking of project cost/burn rate, resource projections, and executive dashboards and report outs. They will work closely with their team and other departments to ensure projects and deployments are completed in a timely manner in accordance with company guidelines and also assist in process improvement. The PM will work on projects utilizing different development frameworks including Waterfall, Iterative Development and Scrum and will be responsible for coordinating with several departments both inside of IT and within the rest of the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and proven track record of meeting with stakeholders to ensure transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
    • Exceptional presentation skills. Ability to present to senior levels of management (e.g. Director, MD) and to facilitate discussions at the senior stakeholder level
    • Execution oriented with strong attention to detail; Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
    • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
    • Experienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to resolution of conflicting requirements
    • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and foster internal relationships
    • Proven track record in delivery of multiple parallel initiatives

    • Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.

    • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
    • Leads project implementations across cross-functional business units. Ensure projects remain on-time, on-budget and deliver expected results. 
    • Direct and manage project development thru the SDLC working with Implementation Vendors.
    • Manage project plan, schedules and milestones, defines strategic implications of the project and determines critical project requirements and dependencies
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, devises contingency plans and escalates to management
    • Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and socializes all related dependencies needed to complete any given project.
    • Assist the team in utilizing agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain standards and best practices
    • Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:

    • S. or a B.A. college degree required

    Required/Desired Skills and Abilities:

    Required:

    • 7-10 years’ experience in PM with enterprise wide implementations.
    • Experience in managing Waterfall, Iterative Development and Scrum/AGILE projects and programs.
    • Effectively be able to shift priorities, timelines and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitivity environment
    • Must be able converse with wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments/business units
    • Strong written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.  
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, (including Project, Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail, as well as perform duties under minimal supervision is a must.
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Proven ability to proactively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Proven ability to meet project deadlines

    Desired:

    • Knowledge of the Medical Healthcare Industry is a plus
    • Managed external implementation vendors
    • Understanding of business process modeling
    • Consulting background
    • Understanding of IT processes and development methodologies
    • Project Manager Certification: Scrum, PMP, SAFe, or any other

    Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Travel Requirements: Travel may be required.

     

    Work Conditions: General office environment.
