    Come aboard our Mobile Medical Clinics, where we provide comprehensive wellness exams to patients within the community. We bring the clinic directly to the local area of the patients who are needing care. Patients can come on our units to receive their preventative wellness examinations, while enjoying the amenities of a clean waiting room, and private exam rooms - all without having to make the trip to their PCP office, or having a provider enter their own home.

    We are looking for a Part Time Registered Nurse to provide top quality comprehensive care to our patients.  Our providers work to effectively identify, evaluate, and address the prevention of disease, while administering quality patient care through wellness exams and health risk assessments.  You will be working alongside Cardiovascular Sonographers and Medical Screening Technicians to validate previous or new health conditions through testing that is immediately available on our unit-- including labs, ultrasounds, EKGs, and spirometry.  This is an opportunity for you to provide excellent service to patients, and to truly make a difference in the healthcare community. 


    Matrix Medical Network believes in quality health care for our clients and their members. Join us for an exciting career in health care. Currently, we are seeking a Field Nurse (Licensed Registered Nurse) to join our clinical team.


    The Field Nurse conducts health-related screenings and gathers patient data as part of the Matrix Medical Network Mobile Health Clinic for healthplan members. Health screenings may include collection of a blood sample via fingerstick, using equipment to screen for osteoporosis and/or to complete a diabetic retinal eye exam, distribute urine and/or stool take home kits and the administration of the influenza vaccine.  Gathering patient data includes;  taking height, weight, blood pressure, screening and administrating the influenza vaccine.  Documentation is completed utilizing electronic health record software.



    Requirements for this role include:

    • A current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
    • 1 year experience as a  Registered Nurse.  
    • Vaccine administration experience preferred
    • Ability to provide education to patients in a way they are able to understand.
    • Works on a Mobile Health Clinic seeing healthplan members in designated geographic territories
    • Possess valid, unrestricted state driver license and be able to drive a car.
    • Proof of adequate automobile insurance coverage for the state of residence.
    • Must have experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)


    Work Environment:


    Matrix clinical staff works with a diverse member populations in a Mobile Health Clinic setting. Clinical staff function within  a team environment, but must be able to also function  independently with traditional resources and Matrix-specific technology.   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to variable temperatures, fumes or airborne particles, blood and other body fluids.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The time will be split between administrative and clinical duties based on the needs of Matrix Medical Network.
